About Beyond Plastic Christianity

Most of us live beyond our means—our finances, our physical talents and abilities, and even the time we have with our “fast food, drive through” mentality. In all of those things, we will risk anything to move beyond the norm but when it comes to our faith, we won't dare to move beyond what we know or can see. We choose to be limited by formulas and conviction. Our faith and testimony becomes a cheap plastic imitation of what someone thinks we all should be. To be holy means to be set apart—not to be the norm. Within this book, we share Scriptural insight and personal reflections through stories and humorous anecdotes that could be none other than my own humbling experiences. We implore the reader to set themselves apart from the rest, to be unique by moving beyond an ordinary faith to an extraordinary life—to be who Christ has created each one to be no matter what the cost.
