The last three weeks we have been exploring the book of Nehemiah. It has been exciting to hear all the ministries that are stirring in the hearts of our people. Don't miss this Sunday as we close out the series 52!

^{Nehemiah 4:14-15} When I saw their fear, I rose and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people: “Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses.” 


Nehemiah took the first step in impacting his world when others stood by and watched. One of the most beautiful things about Nehemiah is that he didn't fight for his own future, but for the future of others... The next time you feel like giving up, remember you are not just fighting for your future, but also the future of others...

Wow, it seems like forever since I have blogged. In all honesty this is the longest I have gone without blogging. Over the last month my schedule had began to spiral out of control, therefore I had to pull back from a few things to give myself the opportunity to pause and take a few deep breaths. During those times I was able to catch my breath, I began to ponder what  really creates change in our households, our schools, our communities, our churches,  our cities, and our world. The common thread that I have constantly found is people, people willing to be different, people willing to deviate from the norm, people willing to not only make a difference but who are willing to be the difference....are you one of those people?

Tragedy
